Our areas
Baker (m,f,d)
Real craftsmanship can be experienced in our bakery. Our customers can more or less look over the bakers’ shoulders and see how bread is made, from the flour to the sourdough to the finished loaf. Our baked goods are made using traditional recipes and methods – you can not only see this, you can taste it too. Artificial additives don’t stand a chance with us. And if you think so too, then come and visit us!
Cooks (m,f,d)
Our kitchen is the core, the hub, the pivotal point, the pump. What happens here is made exclusively by hand. We serve it on the plates or put it on the shelves to take away. The Macis is basically a large-scale artisan business specializing in food with the kitchen as the engine in the middle.
Good food needs time, pure ingredients need pure recipes. And that’s why we need you!

In March 2019, the Macis organic market in the heart of Leipzig opened after six months of renovation. We love our organic market with its show bakery and adjoining market hall to enjoy and linger. And we live the respectful handling of sustainably produced or grown organic food. There’s a place in our midst – maybe for you?

Our kitchen is the core, the center, the focal point, the pump. Everything here is made by us by hand.
