Macis Crust

Our classic...

… made from forest rye flour, spelt flour, water, and salt, this bread forms the foundation for any hearty bread meal. It’s also perfectly suited as a side for soups and stews.
In our house, we especially love using it for the shrimp bread, which you can enjoy in the market hall.

Walnut Crunch

Nutty and mild...

… made from wheat, water, salt, and walnuts, this bread pairs especially well with all types of cheese and a good glass of wine. It’s also the perfect start to the day as a breakfast bread with sweet spreads.

Grand Gourmet

Seeds, nuts, grains...

… the base is the same as for our Walnut Crunch, but with even more nuts, seeds, and grains.
Thanks to the healthy fats from the seeds and its excellent digestibility due to long dough fermentation, the Grand Gourmet fits perfectly into any fitness plan.

Traditional Baguette

un petit bout de france...

… wheat, spelt, water, salt, and yeast – and voilà, you have a French classic. Perfect as a side for salads and soups or topped as a light snack in between meals.

Country Bread

The all-rounder...

… wheat, water, and salt – it’s as simple as that. This bread pairs perfectly with anything you can imagine putting on bread. Our Country Bread serves as the base for all kinds of sandwiches, such as the avocado omelet bread or the pastrami sandwich.

The Hearty One

Coarse and robust...

… a delight with any savory bread topping. Made from cracked rye, forest rye flour, water, and salt, and available with or without coriander.

Our Master Bakers

Ralf Mucke

Our Powerhouse bakes 500 loaves of bread a day. A trained baker, he briefly ventured into the automotive industry but quickly found his way back to his passion. In London, he showed the British what good German bread is all about, and now he demonstrates live and in color in Macis’ open bakery how true craftsmanship looks.
